Bethesda West Hospital

Project consisted of converting 58 acres of agricultural land to a commercial mixed use property which included new offsite water mains/force mains, lift station, parking lots, roadways, state road turn-lanes, median landscape, and the construction of a bridge. Three buildings were constructed which were as follows: 242,000 s.f. state of the art freestanding 80 Bed Hospital; 9,000 s.f. central utility plant; 2,700 s.f. oxygen tank farm and cooling tower building.

The hospitals programmed space was comprised of 70 Medical surgical beds, 10 Intensive Care Unit beds, 4 Operating suites, 22 Ambulatory surgical care beds, 6 PACU Beds, 2 Endoscopy OR rooms, Pharmacy, Laboratory, 1 MRI room, 2 Fluoro rooms, 1 CT Scan room, 1 Single Plane room, 1 Nuclear Medicine, 1 Mammography room, 1 Trauma room, full service kitchen, Central Sterile, 17 ER Exam rooms, and 6 ADS ER rooms.
