The Project consisted of adding 2 stories over top of an existing operating Oncology Department. We constructed 27 patient rooms for rehabilitation on the Northwest side of the building. We also constructed a full functioning Helipad on top of the roof.

The challenge was removing the existing roof of the building and going up 2 stories when we had an operating department below us, we fully scaffold the project to protect the public. We constructed Cornell on the upper floor, leaving the lower floor an open shell for future build out. We also matched up the curtain wall mullion construction with the front of the building because we knew the future Open Heart facility will go in between and would have to all line up.
